Lives are defined by opportunities, even the ones we miss.
A quote taken from The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. A really really awesome movie. If you haven't seen it yet, I suggest you do. It's a long movie, but it's totally worth it. It's probably one of the better movies that I've seen this year. Well...if you take into consideration all the movies I've seen in 08. But if we're only going by the ones I've seen in 09

it's the best
Just the way that some of the things are presented in the film are very unique. One of the things that I liked most about the movie is that it changed the idea of Death. Instead of making it something that is to be overcome (The Fountain) or something that is to be feared (The Dark Knight) it was just a part of life. Death was always around him, so he came to terms with it early on in his life. When someone died, life didn't stop, it just moved on. You buried the dead and someone else took their place, and then followed them to the grave.
I don't really know how to explain it. But death was a force, just like the wind or the sea. It didn't cause any sorrow. It was just there. And you learned to deal with it.
We also did a lot of filming that night. I don't know why, I guess I wasn't that into it. I guess I wanted to have meaning in the shots, but they were just going for shots that looked cool. Honestly, I'd normally be into that, which is what bothered me. It's just a different style I guess. Seeing as abstract has as much artistic value as anything else. I don't know. I want a camera and I want to start taking pictures that mean things to me.
I guess I'm kinda tired right now. I'm not really in the mood for writing. I wanna talk to Star, S, or honestly even Cookie. But of course, today is the day where everyone has something better to do than I do. I think I'll probably read or something like that.
anyway. I might write more later, but for now I need more room
